We decided to try out Nickelodeon Adventure over the Easter holidays because as well as being 50% off, it's a great day out for a rainy day! The boys don't actually watch much Nickelodeon but it isn't really necessary to know who all the characters are as they will still enjoy themselves.
When you arrive and head upstairs, you enter the first zone which is Paw-Patrol Adventure Bay. There are giant cars that the children can stand in, press buttons and explore as well as the 'command centre' slide.
Behind adventure bay, you will find Blaze's Monster Machine race where the children can use the steering wheel's to race around the track. This was obviously a favourite for my two boys being big monster truck fans!
To the left of the main area, you will find Dora the Explorer with the 'In the night sky' interactive activity. You can create your very own constellation in the stars, placing your feet in the allocated place and using your finger to create patterns.
Further into the centre there are some climbing tubes of various sizes. The children can crawl through and there are screens displaying Nickelodeon's past and present characters including Dexter's Laboratary and Spongebob. You'll also find a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle soft play area, Donatella's Ninja Flyers ride and 4d cinema.
There are lots of interactive features including buttons to press and things to spin to play music or make the characters move on a set. The favourite part was the 'Boating school' where the children can drive round the roads in a boat. There was a bit of a queue for this but it was the only thing other than the cinema where we had to wait.
In terms of logistics, you can pretty much wander around wherever you like in whatever order you want. There are 30 minute slots for entry so as people are arriving at staggered times, it is not as busy as we thought it may be and we had plenty of time in each area.
In terms of facilities, there is a 'slime' cafe situated at the back of the centre with children's hot and cold meal deals. There are toilets situated upstairs and gift shop downstairs as you exit. There is a lift and buggy park with lockers for personal belongings if you want to leave them.
