Thames Chase Santa Fun Run
10am-3pm
Arrive from 10am - Fun Run begins at 11am - Distance 1.8miles= 1 lap around, 3.6miles= 2 laps around, 5.4miles= 3 laps around

Walk, run, jog or dance your way around! Come and take part in the Thames Chase Community Forest Santa Fun Run. Walk around Thames Chase and help raise money for the charity. You can choose whether you do one, two or three laps around the site.

10.30am we will be instructed in a Zumba warm up with Daryl Branch on our Orchard Meadow. Registration will be from 10am in front of the barn, in the quad area. The event will be opened by Mrs Claus and Jingle the Elf.

Join us for a sleigh ride through space in this a show specially curated for younger children, as past of Christmas Space Day. A perfect way for all aspiring astronauts and astronomers to begin their exploration of the solar system.

This show lasts approximately 50 minutes.

Prebooking is essential.

This show is suitable for ages 3+. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.

Please note that tickets are per person attending the show, not per child. Every attendee will need a ticket.

The Planetarium is on the first floor of Southend Central Museum. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building there is no lift or step free access to the Planetarium.

Father Christmas is busy back at the North Pole, making all of the toys in time for Christmas Eve. He has asked Mrs Claus to meet the children in her kitchen, to make some delicious Christmas treats.

It's a canine Christmas at the priory this December! Join us in the Visitor Centre where your pups will get to meet Mrs Claus for a treat, gift, and family photo. Have they been naughty or nice this year?

Tickets are per dog, human family members can attend for free! Seasonal refreshments will be available to purchase from the Visitor Centre.

Timeslots are arranged in 20 minute sessions. You will be able to see Mrs Claus within those 20 minutes, but we do recommend arriving within the first 5/10 minutes to ensure there is enough time for every dog to see Mrs Claus.

Father Christmas is busy back at the North Pole, making all of the toys in time for Christmas Eve. He has asked Mrs Claus to meet the children in her kitchen, to make some delicious Christmas treats.

Join Mrs Claus and her elves to really get in to the festive mood.

Children will get to decorate a biscuit, whilst Mrs Claus tells them a story about her previous Christmas capers. Children will then get to have photos with Mrs Claus and tell her about their wish lists and receive a gift left for them by Father Christmas.

In aid of Lukes Hospice

We are thrilled to announce that the Basildon Tractor Plant's Christmas Tractor run will be returning on Saturday 14th December. We are starting the route from the Basildon Tractor Plant at 5pm, heading through Pitsea, Laindon and North Benfleet, raising funds and awareness for St Luke's Hospice. St Luke's Hospice is a local charity providing compassion and care to those with incurable illnesses.

Giving page ready for the 14th of December to brighten the streets of Basildon and spread Christmas cheer! This tractor run is free for spectators but there will be donation buckets at the start point.

Welcome to the Thames Chase Christmas Grotto!

Father Christmas is busy back at the North Pole, making all of the toys in time for Christmas Eve. He has asked Mrs Claus to meet the children in her kitchen, to make some delicious Christmas treats.

Join Mrs Claus and her elves to really get in to the festive mood.

Children will get to decorate a biscuit, whilst Mrs Claus tells them a story about her previous Christmas capers. Children will then get to have photos with Mrs Claus and tell her about their wish lists and receive a gift left for them by Father Christmas.
