Remember, remember the 5th of November…or somewhere around that date as it falls on a Tuesday this year, so lucky us, there are 2 weekends of fireworks events this year! Local displays have started going on sale, so I’ll be adding to this list over the coming weeks.

This guide details all the fireworks displays I've come across locally in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, plus some larger displays beyond that may be worth travelling to.

Many displays won't have tickets available on the night, so do check details if you need to pre book.

It's also worth bearing in mind that many displays now ban sparklers.

Some events provide parking, but many do not, so please do check in advance.

And finally, don't forget to check full details on events, as things can always change and my information may not always be fully up to date. Please don't travel without checking.

The Official Hitchin Fireworks Display at Hitchin Priory
Fri 1st November 2024 - Gates open from 4pm
A night of spectacular entertainment is coming to the Hitchin Priory Hotel on 1st November!

Ickleford Fireworks at Ickleford Sports and Recreation Ground, Hitchin
Date tbc but I've heard it's Saturday November 2nd - their Facebook page is teasing an announcement soon.
There's usually a great fireworks display, as well as live music, food traders and outside beer tent/bar.

The Cricketers Weston Fireworks Night
Sat 2nd November 2024 Gates 3pm, Live Music 5:30pm, Fireworks 6:15pm

Baldock Community Fireworks at Letchworth Eagles Football Club
Sat 9th November 2024 - Gates open 3pm, fireworks 5:45pm
Leysbrook is delighted to be back hosting the Baldock Community Fireworks for 2024, this time with a new temporary venue at the Eagles Football Club, just outside Baldock! There will be plenty of entertainment, stalls, food vans, fairground rides and more - come and join in! Tickets are £8 each (£10 on the door); doors open at 3pm.

Stevenage Fireworks at Fairlands Valley Park
Tuesday 5th November 2024 - timing tbc
A free, family-friendly evening flled with the warmth of hot food and refreshments, creating unforgettable memories on a chilly winter night. Our state-of-the-art Fire One system orchestrates a mesmerising display, synchronising freworks to a carefully curated musical soundtrack, enhancing the experience for over 25,000 attendees of all ages.

St Albans Fireworks Spectacular
Saturday November 2nd -  Gates open 6pm, fireworks display 7:30pm
Come and enjoy a spectacular display in aid of local charities Home Start Hertfordshire, who provide support to parents to be the best they can be, to improve children’s outcomes and Earthworks St Albans, who support people with learning difficulties to manage 3.5 acres of eco gardens in St Albans.

Ally Pally's Fireworks Festival
Fri 1st and Sat 2nd November 2024 - dates confirmed but timing tbc
Join us on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November for an unforgettable evening at the Ally Pally Fireworks Festival! Dance the night away at StrEATlife, featuring electrifying sets from top DJs (to be announced). Cozy up by our roaring bonfire, or head inside to our German Bier Festival, where lively Oompah bands and thrilling tribute acts (to be announced) await.
