This holiday season, Young Carers' Crew is excited to announce the launch of a special collection of printable Christmas cards, designed to raise funds for local young carers. Each pack, priced at just £3.60, includes four unique, hand-drawn designs created by talented 6-year-old artist Phoebe Hounsome.
Young carers, aged 8-16, often face immense responsibilities at a young age, providing care for family members with disabilities, illnesses, or mental health issues. In the UK, there are an estimated 800,000 young carers, with many balancing school, friendships, and caregiving duties. Young Carers' Crew has been a lifeline for nearly 100 children in North Herts and Stevenage over the past decade, offering vital support and a community where they can connect and thrive.
Phoebe, inspired by her visit to Young Carer’s Crew, shared, "If you have someone who is sick in your family and their parents can’t give all the children lots of attention, a taxi will take them to the Young Carers' Crew where they play with other young people and eat yummy food."
Each card is left blank inside, allowing customers to add personal messages. They can be printed at home or shared digitally, making it easy to spread festive cheer while supporting a worthy cause.
