Adventure Golf Adventure Island, SS1 1EE
9 holes £6.50, 18 rounds £8. Passholders get 50% off.
In the heart of Southend and of course, being based within Adventure Island, this is a great location to combine mini golf into your day out. There are two separate courses so you have the choice between the two or you can do both in whatever order you like. The course is based around a Dinosaur theme and full of caves and tunnels. (It isn't really accessible for pushchairs or wheelchairs as there are steps and lots of steep hills around the course). The steep hills of course make the game a lot more interesting!!
Arnold Palmer Mini golf Darlowes Green, SS1 2ES
18 holes Adult £8. Under 12's £6
Located directly behind Sealife Adventure, one of the last original Arnold Palmer mini golf courses, it's been in Southend since 1990! They don't have a website or social media so information is difficult to find. They are, however, open 7 days a week from 10.00am - 6.00pm. The course has 18 holes and there are plenty of colourful obstacles and features to make it enjoyable including a waterwheel, windmill and lots of ramps and slopes. They also have a 'Formula fun' area with a couple of electric vehicles to ride for £1. They also sells snacks and refreshments and there are public toilets near Sealife Adventure.

An indoor crazy golf venue loaded with challenging obstacles and fun interactive features! With 2 nine hole courses, you can decide to do one or both. The red course is the 'easy' option so suited for younger children, with the blue course being more challenging. Being indoors, it's great for all year round fun.
Garons Castle Adventure golf Eastern Avenue, SS2 4FA
PEAK Adult £9, Under 16's £7, Under 3's £3 OFF-PEAK Adult £8, Under 16's £6, Under 3's £2 Family tickets available
This was a definite favourite of ours, with it's twists and turns and little surprises along the way, it isn't just your standard crazy golf. Based on the rich history of Essex, all 18 hole's have their own theme with a story behind it. With water features, bridges and tunnels, it will certainly keep the children entertained for the whole game
You can hire all the equipment at the beginning of the course along with snacks and drinks. It's totally family friendly and accessible for all.
Dino's Encounter Crazy Golf Great Wakering, SS3 0AX
18 holes 14 and under £4 15 and over £6
A family friendly, dinosaur themed crazy golf course with dinosaurs and volcanoes. Situated at Cupid's golf club, it's a perfect activity for your dinosaur fans. With 18 holes, it's a fairly large course but I found the theme was really engaging and made it more interesting. There's water features, small and large dinosaurs and animal figures and lots of varying obstacles, with children in mind. You can get your clubs and score sheets from the small hut by the gate when you enter. Golfers are also welcome to pop into Cupid's Country club for drinks and light snacks, with there also being a small play area and slide in the beer garden at the back of the club.
Fantasy Island Crazy Golf Canvey Island, SS8 7DN
18 holes - £3.50 per person
Set within the amusement park Fantasy Island, the 18 hole crazy golf course brings together both skill and fun with its traditional seaside feel. With some tricky (but fun) obstacles, it is suited for anyone aged from 3 to 93! Other than the actual golfing greens, the area is completely flat so wheelchair and buggy friendly!
Mini Meadows Crazy Golf, Battlesbridge, SS11 7QU

Set within the grounds of Meadow Croft Garden Centre, head to the 10th hole to collect your clubs and get your score sheet. Out of season, you can pay for mini golf at the main garden centre tills. The course doesn't have any obstacles as such but has lots of twists, turns and slopes to make the game interesting. Behind the course, there is a play area for under 11's with a slide and small climbing frame . You can buy hot and cold drinks, alcohol drinks, milkshakes and sweet treats from the 10th Hole.
