Nubian Goat Walking
Church Farm
Sat 22nd February 2025 - Sun 23rd February 2025
Join our farmers walking Gilbert and Gregory, our Anglo Nubian Goats. We will start off by getting to know the goats and learning about how to walk them. Once everyone is acquainted we will head out on a gentle walk through our farm. The goats will have the opportunity to browse on the hedgerows and grasses which is great enrichment for them.
You will find the goats full of mischief, extremely intelligent and just love human company. You will lead your own personal goat on a leisurely stroll throughout, with frequent stops for them to nibble their favourite leaves and plants and for you to take photographs of the occasion. On the way, the farmer will tell you about the goats that you have walking with you and you can ask questions.
Once the walk is over you will be able to feed them some treats before releasing them back into their paddock.
The event will run for approximately 40 minutes. Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult during the experience. Each child can bring one supporting adult. This event is not suitable for very young children under the age of 3 or children who may not want to walk for a long period of time.
Remember Farm Day passes need to be purchased for all farm visitors (under two's are free) in order to enter the farm and do this activity.
£14.95 per person walking the goat (not the accompanying adult). + Farm Day Pass
