The Cliff Lift, is a funicular railway, constructed in 1912. The lift operated for the first time on Bank Holiday Monday, in August of that year. It's officially the shortest funicular railway and the only single track funicular railway in Britain!
The Cliff Lift is run by volunteers and the opening times are dependant on availability. Open Saturdays 10.30-3pm but please check the facebook page.
Travel is free as of April 2023 - donations welcome
