This festive season, bring the family down to Southend Pier for a magical Christmas trail, for just £3 per child*!

Ten cheerful Christmas characters, from Santa Claus to a cheeky Gingerbread Man, are hidden along the Pier Stem and around the Pier Head, each hiding a letter that forms a secret Christmas word. Once you've uncovered the secret word, head to the Gift Shop where you can choose a prize from a selection of Southend Pier Souvenirs!

Keep an eye out for hidden robins along the way - a little extra fun to enjoy as you go!

The trail takes you along the entire length of the Pier - 1.33 miles (but you can always get the train one way) making it the perfect way to get everyone outdoors and active during the festive season. With stunning views of the estuary and plenty of fresh sea air, it's an experience the whole family will love. Remember to wrap up warm and wear comfy shoes for your adventure!

The trail runs Wednesday to Sunday 10:15am - 4:30pm & every day during the school holidays.

Please note, the pier will close early on Christmas Eve, last entrance will be at 2pm, closing at 3pm. The trail will be available until 1:30pm to ensure there is enough time to complete it.
