As one of the best family attractions in Essex there's so much to do here at Barleylands Farm Park, Billericay whatever the weather. We've farmyard friends with daily animal activities including lamb bottle feeding, a huge Reptile House and awesome birds of prey. Race around the indoor play, and go wild in the outdoor play areas bouncing on our vast jumping pillow... boiiing! If that's not enough, explore the Discovery Barn and take a ride on the Tractor Trailer!

Set in the stunning grounds of Bedfords Park, an historic parkland site of 215 acres, owned and managed by the London Borough of Havering. The nature reserve affords fantastic views over London and into Kent.

There is a shop and café, with indoor and outdoor seating. Proceeds go towards Essex Wildlife Trust, supporting conservation efforts in the county.

Boydells Dairy Farm is a small working farm, run by the Threadgold family consisting of Roy and Cherry, with son Kiley now in charge. The farm is open to the public and specialises in sheep milking. Set in the beautiful North Essex countryside only an hour's drive from central London, it provides a fun-packed and educational visit for children and adults alike.

We encourage all of our guests to get up close and personal with some of our amazing species on offer through our displays and demonstrations as you travel around the world throughout our geographical map of the zoo.

Cedars Nature Centre is a small community zoo based in the historic grounds of Cedars Park, Waltham Cross. Unlimited daily entry, including all of our daily meet and greets. £2 per person. We run talks every 45 mins including our popular meerkat feed and skunk meet and greet!

Home to 220 species set in 60 acres of parkland and lakes! 🦓During your visit to Colchester Zoo, you will see many species from around the world and can learn more about them at our fantastic daily encounters, giving you the chance to see our animals being fed, watch a training session or perhaps just quiz their keepers! 🐘As you navigate your way around Colchester Zoo you'll visit many different habitats, from the humid home of our Komodo Dragons to our very own Africa plain, Kingdom of the Wild, home to white rhino, giraffes, ostrich, zebra and kudu.🐅

There are over 100 different species and specialise in smaller exotic animals so we don't have elephants, lions or tigers but we have lots of family favourites such as monkeys, penguins, meerkats and lemurs. There are also a few rides and activities like panning for gold and digging for fossils.

Discover a land of giant dinosaurs and meet fantastic real life farm animals along the way. Junior explorers can go dino-spotting from the tree-tops viewing tower or take on the caveman challenge to unearth ancient fossils at the dino-dig! Get up close and personal with our farmyard animals, from bouncing bunnies to cute guinea pigs, find them all at cuddle corner. Don't forget to sing along at Gully's musical farm.
