Our website allows relevant businesses, establishments, clubs and groups (together known as “the Businesses”) to list, advertise, publish features and write articles on our website producing “Listings”, “Advertisements”, “Features”, and “Articles”. Businesses also write Articles for our newsletter which is sent out to our newsletter subscribers, posted on our social media sites and published on our website from time to time.
12. Recommendations and Comments
Users of our website, including you, may positively recommend one or more of the Businesses listed on our website. No negative comments will be allowed.
When leaving your recommendation for a Business you will need to provide your name and email address. You will then receive a link via your email address in order to confirm your recommendation. If you fail to confirm your recommendation using the link in the confirmation email your recommendation and personal data associated with it will be deleted from the system after 6 weeks.
Once you have confirmed your email address we will review the recommendation prior to publishing it on the website and we reserve the right not to publish any recommendation/comment which we believe, in our sole discretion, is negative, dishonest, illegal, unfair, discriminatory or in some way may be prejudicial to the image or reputation of our website or the Business to which the comment relates. If we choose not to publish your recommendation/comment on the website we will delete your recommendation/comment and personal data associated with it immediately.
You will only be able to comment on each Business listing once.
Your comment will remain on the website for up to 5 years.
Your first name, the first letter of your surname, and the date of your comment will appear next to your comment on the website.
You are free to request the removal of all your data from our website at any time by contacting us. In doing so we will delete all your personal data held by us for this purpose and any recommendations and/or comments that you have made at any time on the website.
13. No reliance on information
The content on our website is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice or recommendations on which you should rely.
Our website publishes Listings, Advertisements, Features, and Articles from the Businesses and Businesses also write Articles for our newsletter which is sent out to our newsletter subscribers, posted on our social media sites and published on our website from time to time. Save for the basic screening and approval of Listings, Advertisements, Features, and Articles we have neither control over, nor involvement in, any of the Businesses, and we accept no responsibility for any actions taken, or any goods or services provided, by any of the Businesses. We do not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of Listings, Advertisements, Features or Articles by any of the Businesses on our website or in the newsletter, and we do not endorse any opinions expressed by them, or products or services provided by them.
