UPDATE: BEDFORDS PARK NATURE DISCOVERY CENTRE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, AS WE UNDERGO ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE WITHIN THE CENTRE.

Bedfords Park covers approximately 215 acres and provides a range of important habitats for wildlife. The deer park to the west of the visitor centre has a herd of Red Deer. During school holidays and throughout the summer, the Essex Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre is open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm. Otherwise closed Mondays, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but open other Bank Holidays.
