Our aim is to provide home care in order for our clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. We provide companionship and home support to older people to help them remain in their own homes. The type of support we can provide includes: light housework, meal preparation, shopping, taking to appointments or simple companionship.

Shears is a one-stop shop & Diane will help you understand the whole care system, clarify your options & find whatever help you need - to enable your loved ones to either remain independent at home or to move somewhere more suitable.

A Facebook group for residents of Harpenden and the surrounding villages. This group aims to provides a forum to chat, seek advice, tips and recommendations about the local area. We accept member requests from residents in Harpenden (and villages) but not further afield unless they have specific links to the area / are a local business / contact us with a specific other reason to join.
