Verulamium Park is set in 100 acres of beautiful parkland close to the city centre and is a popular attraction throughout the year with a wide range of facilities including crazy golf (clubs available from Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre), Inn on the Park, orienteering route, playground, tennis and netball/basketball courts, adiZone (outdoor gym), lakes and Roman hypocaust. There is also a free splash park that the children can enjoy in the summer months.
The children's play area is new and was launched in 2020.
