In my pottery classes you will learn the art of clay from my Garden Studio in Puckeridge, Hertfordshire. You will learn how to coil, slab and pinch to make all kinds of wonderful ceramic creations that you will treasure, and hopefully have lots of fun along the way.

My pottery classes are small and informal and are suitable for beginners and the more experienced alike. With my encouragement and guidance I'll help you to develop your pottery craft ideas.

Ladies Night:

Ladies night is an evening session where you can make your own pottery in the company of your friends. Feel free to bring a bottle, glasses are provided. You are welcome to arrive early to decorate the studio if the occasion with your friends is of a special nature.

The price is £60 per adult, we can have a maximum of 10 ladies with a minimum booking of 4. The session is up to a maximum of 2 hours, from 7 to 9pm. These will normally take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Please note that all work must be fired in the kiln once you have finished and can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to be ready to collect. We will of course notify you when your work is ready to collect.

2 hour pottery experience:

A one off 2 hour pottery experience is £60 per head. During this lesson you will get to make a hand built bowl or dish, this is then decorated with colored slips, followed by a tutorial on throwing pots on the potters wheel. You will get keep up to 2 pots you complete on the wheel, plus your hand built bowl. These will all be finished off by myself and then finally glazed for you to collect at a later date, about 4 weeks.
