I am a Primary Maths Specialist and Head of Maths at a local prep school. I have over 12 years experience and have held Head of Maths positions in several schools in England and internationally.

Often Maths can seem difficult to understand and students can struggle with areas such as problem solving. I believe that by using high-quality activities, combined with the experience of a specialist teacher, all children can make great progress towards their goals.

I deliver group sessions (up to 10 children) that engage and challenge students to deepen their understanding in an area of Mathematics. In my experience, when students succeed, they enjoy learning and develop confidence in their abilities. Group sessions are fantastic for discussion and collaboration; all things that lead to better understanding. However, activities will always be tailored to your child's specific needs.

How Sessions work?

I ask parents to complete a pre-assessment with their children before taking part in a session. This gives me information about your child's attainment and therefore what they need to learn next. After the session, I will email parents with a summary of the progress their child has made and their next steps. I also provide activities to embed or extend learning for children to take away with them after the session.
