Film School UK
Age: 11 - 18
Film School UK is aimed at the next generation of filmmakers and creatives aged 11 - 18+
(from school years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13+).
Students will get guided hands-on filmmaking experience, with students responsible for everything from the concept, operation and creation of their material. They will form small production companies working to produce professional-standard media content, with the aim of entering this into film festivals and cinema screenings.
Our young filmmakers will also have access to industry influencers and professional mentors who will share the most up-to-date knowledge and trends from this fast-developing industry.
Our ethos is 'learning through doing'.
Our only entry criterion is that all applicants MUST have an active interest in the film making process.
