My name is Sophie Crowley (BSc Hons PGCE MA) and along with 10 years primary school teaching experience, I have been playing the piano and singing for over 30 years. I started teaching in 2008, and at the same time worked towards my Masters degree in Education. I greatly enjoyed teaching in the classroom but after having my daughter and several health issues following, I decided to concentrate my teaching from home.

I studied piano, singing and cello at school, achieving Grade 8 piano, Grade 5 theory and Grade 5 cello. I am currently studying towards my DipABRSM in solo piano performance. I have sung with choirs from a young age, from church groups to the London Philharmonic Choir as an adult, regularly performing at the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. I currently sing with the Hertfordshire Chorus.

I am a member of the Musicians' Union, have an enhanced DBS certificate and hold public liability insurance.
