For a few years now there has been an active rock hunting group in Harpenden.
Paint Rocks, Hide Rocks, Hunt for Rocks! Join in finding rocks hidden in parks around Harpenden. Enjoy them, re-hide them, create more for others to find. Spread some happiness!
SAFETY notice - please make sure you only hide in places that will not cause safety hazards. For example Don't hide at grass level where they can get caught in mowers!

Good places to hide and hunt include Lydekker Park, the Sensory Garden in Bowers Parade, Southdown Ponds and Rothamsted Park. If you take a rock please do re-hide it for others to find.
Top Tip: to ensure the longevity of your artwork give your rock a covering of clear varnish/lacquer/nail polish to protect it from the elements.
