In November 2022, Blue Diamond acquired this garden centre and 2 others known as Van Hage.

The three sites are the flagship store at Great Amwell Ware, Chenies between Amersham and Rickmansworth and the Van Hage centre on the PE1 retail park at Peterborough.

Great Amwell is the Van Hage Flagship Garden Centre with beautifully landscaped car park, over 1000 sq metres of shopping space and a Miniature Railway. Great Amwell has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment with Blue Diamond, and the centre now boasts a garden and home experience like no other.
