The school gives a high standard of swimming tuition in a safe, friendly environment for children and adults of all abilities. Our enthusiastic teachers have taught thousands of children to swim over the last 13 years. We have teachers with experience ranging from toddlers all the way up to pre competition. Our teachers aim to make lessons fun and relaxed to support learning.

All our classes are taken by ASA qualified staff and run for 30 minutes. Rookie lifesaving and adult sessions run for 45 minutes. For the non swimmer and beginner levels the teacher will be in the water with the class meaning parents are not required to get in the pool. However parents must remain on poolside for the duration of the lesson.

Children's lessons start for all those aged over 4 years of any ability. Before 4 years old we run parent and child classes on a Saturday. Lessons run term time only, breaking for half term. All lessons take place at Townsend school pool.
