"The Old Town Hall is Hemel Hempstead's best kept secret, which is a shame because it's a marvelous listed building that contains a vibrant theatre space, gallery and cellar bar/music and comedy venue.
It's owned by Dacorum Borough Council, which means that ticket prices are pleasantly affordable. They also do Family tickets to increase the savings.
It regularly hosts children's shows that have a hidden educational content. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they provided paper and drawing material for the kids before the shows. It was nice to find that the refreshments had been selected to be without artificial sweeteners or additives. "
