If you are looking to stay close to home this Easter, here's what's on right here in Harpenden...

There are two Easter Egg Hunts happening in town...

Harpenden Easter Egg Hunt on the common organised by the Friends of Harpenden Academy takes place on 18th April and includes face painting, crafts and activities and a bouncy castle.

And running throughout the holidays until 21st April, you can take part in an Easter trail around Southdown with Grove Schools' PTA. If you wish to take part you need to book by 4th April.

If you have a young person aged 12-16, and in particular if they are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, they can sign up for the free Holiday Activity Programme for Young People taking place at Harpenden Young People's Centre (above the library) 7th - 10th April.

On 10th April there will a craft session in Harpenden Library making Bunny Baskets.  Places are limited, so booking (via the enquiry desk) is recommended. £2 per child.

If you are looking for something to do at home, Ashtons Estate Agents are running an Easter Drawing Competition where children have a change of winning a Jellycat bunny. Closing date is 16th April.

And just outside of Harpenden, Luton Hoo Walled Garden are holding their Spring Open Day on 16th April, which will include, arts & crafts, hunt the bunnies and plant a seed.
