Holiday clubs & classes

Welcome to Little Flora's Holiday Club, where we provide children with a safe, nurturing space to explore and connect with nature! We are delighted to offer a 1-week trial for children aged 4.5 to 8 years, running from 9 AM to 12 noon. While one-off sessions are available, we recommend the full week, as Forest School is a journey where each day builds upon the last, allowing children to deepen their understanding of themselves and the natural world.


Our sessions will include activities such as woodwork, fire lighting, cooking, and den building, with elements introduced progressively throughout the week to support skill development.


During the session, a light snack will be provided, and drinks (milk and water) will be available. For those opting into the lunch session, a healthy lunch (hot or cold) will be provided, tailored to the children's needs.


For children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those requiring 1:1 support, please contact us prior to booking to ensure we can accommodate your child safely.


It's important to note that our sessions will run in all weather conditions, except for high winds over 25-30 mph or lightning. This is a completely outdoor provision with minimal shelter, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately in layers. A kit list can be provided, and we offer support for families in need of outdoor clothing.


While we follow a positive behaviour management policy, the safety of all children and staff is our priority. If at any time your child's actions are deemed unsafe and they are not following the guidance of our practitioners or adhering to forest rules, your booking will be terminated immediately without a refund. The forest is a wonderful place for play and learning, but it can also be dangerous if safety rules are not respected.


Please note, that this trial week is not Ofsted registered and therefore you will not be able to use any government funding to pay for these sessions during this trial week, but is led by a qualified Level 3 Forest School leader and a team of experienced outdoor practitioners.
