Explore our 3 exhibition rooms where you can see beautiful local art displays and discover fascinating history. Our working watermill is made of 18th & 19th century wooden machinery which has been restored to full working order. It is in regular use to grind organic wheat for a local bakery and for retail sale. On milling days, visitors can see the watermill in action.

Located on the site of a former steam driven silk mill, & later enormous Brooke Bond tea factory, this volunteer-run museum looks forward to welcoming you. Its three rooms consider the history, industry & mysteries of Redbourn village through changing exhibitions. Local history books, videos, pictures, cards & other gifts on sale. Scott's Grotto is a series of interconnected chambers, extending some 67ft into the chalk hillside. It is rumoured to have cost £10,000 and is thought to have taken 30 years to complete. The chambers and tunnels are lined with shells, flints and pieces of coloured glass. The grotto is open 2-4.30pm on each Saturday & Bank Holiday Monday between April 1st and September 28th.
