Spend the sessions bottle feeding our adorable lambs, taking lots of pictures, getting to know the lambs and learning lots of facts to impress your friends and family!

UH Arts + Culture and Art:Sci Research Lab are thrilled to present a group exhibition exploring how artists and scientists can work together.

The exhibition follows six artists' journeys through their practices as they explore ways in which meaningful cross-disciplinary collaborations can be achieved with both human and non-human partners.

The exhibiting artists are Heather Barnett, Emma Critchley, Hannah Dargavel-Leafe, Alexa Wright, Sam Jury and Rob Godman.
The exhibition brings together a range of different artistic practices and ways of working - from slime mould investigations to underwater ecosystems and Tourette's Syndrome.

This time we will be reading 'Mog the Forgetful Cat' by Judith Kerr and having a sing-song, if you like, you could even dress up!

During the Easter holidays, take part in pond dipping at RSPB Rye Meads! Discover the creatures lurking in the hidden depths of the waters - from the tiny water flea to the mighty dragonfly nymph, the ponds of Rye Meads are full of a variety of amazing animals! Available from 10am-4pm, Wednesday - Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (21st April). No need to book, just turn up on the day!

All pond dipping equipment is provided for £4.50 per kit, and your pond dipping session will last approximately 25 minutes. Please do not bring your own nets as you won't be able to use them in our pond. This is a self-led activity.

A relaxed and messy potion making workshop in the Easter holidays.

Children will be guided through making some special spring potions, and will be able to 'free play'. They will be making fizzing, bubbling and beautiful potions exploring different reactions and smells.

Potion making encourages creativity, curiosity and excitement, and is all based on STEM. It's also great for sensory needs.

They will also be decorating a jar to take their brew home, including making a beaded label. Tea, coffee, biscuits and squash for free.

Our Easter Bunny Hunt is an extremely popular event and has run for many years. There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day!!

The event is run from the Visitor Centre. Tickets cost £6 per child and the last entry is at 2pm.

In this workshop our tutor Jess will demonstrate how to make a simple folded zine, which we will then use to create a short comic on any topic of the child's choice (maybe Easter themed!). Return to the 17th Century with Sir Marmaduke Rawdon's Regiment of Foote as it prepares to march and join King Charles' Royalist army at Oxford.
It is April 1643 and Rawdon is training his soldiers before they leave the Chiltern Hills. Come and watch the muskets firing, and the Pikemen demonstrating their hand to hand combat skills.

Discover the creatures lurking in the hidden depths of the waters - from the tiny water flea to the mighty dragonfly nymph, the ponds of Rye Meads are full of a variety of amazing animals! Available from 10am-4pm, Wednesday - Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (21st April). No need to book, just turn up on the day!

All pond dipping equipment is provided for £4.50 per kit, and your pond dipping session will last approximately 25 minutes. Please do not bring your own nets as you won't be able to use them in our pond. This is a self-led activity.

Listen to the stories (4-8 year old audience) and spot the wildlife. There may even be opportunities to feed the birdlife and hopefully see any newly hatched chicks.

The Gade River is full of wildlife and we will pause to feed any we spot. The Bryan Donkin boat leaves from outside our Visitor Centre in Fourdrinier Way, travels down The Gade to join the Grand Union Canal, where we will stop briefly.

Easter Adventure Trail at Jordans Mill!

Spring has sprung, and the Easter Bunny needs your help! Explore our beautiful Mill Gardens, Meadow, and Woodland as you follow clues, complete fun activities and answer questions at 10 exciting trail stops.

Meet the amazing animals who call the meadow home and discover fascinating facts along the way.

Pick up your trail sheet from the Mill Shop for just £4 per child (includes a special prize!).

Join us for our new Museum Babies, especially for babies from tiny to first steps and their adults. With stories, songs, crafts and sensory activities there will be plenty for your little ones to enjoy.

This session is most suitable for babies from tiny to first steps and their adults. If you have an older child, have a look at our Museum Tots session for under 5s and their adults.

Cost: £4 per child

Join us for our new Museum Tots, especially for children under 5 and their adults. With stories, songs, crafts and hands-on activities there will be plenty to keep your little ones moving and creating.

This session is most suitable for children from walking to 5 years old and their adults. If you have a younger child, have a look at our Museum Babies session for babies to walking and their adults.

Join us for some hands-on play themed around milling, farming, baking and rivers.

Mini Millers stay and play is FREE with Mill tour ticket. £6 adult, £2 child.

Stay as long as you like until 4pm, with drinks and snacks for adults and children included. Children must be supervised at all times.

Create memories that last a lifetime whilst bottle feeding our adorable lambs (available from 15th February daily through to 5th May) Your Farm Pass is required to participate in Lamb Bottle Feeding - this will be added automatically when booking

Appropriate for 2+ years, younger children will need adult assistance
All under 18's must be accompanied by an over 18
The experience lasts around 30 minutes, you must meet the activity host at the farm shop a minimum of 10 minutes prior or much earlier if you would like to walk around the farm before
You will feed one (1) lamb
You can be accompanied by one (1) person , anyone else can spectate from outside the pen
