Bugs are great for the garden, but cause mischief in historic houses! This spring, children can enjoy learning about the bugs that call the inside of Shaw's Corner home and help put them back where they belong on our Easter garden trail. Once complete, a chocolate egg will be available to collect.

With its intimate setting and limited capacity of just 15 children per time slot, our enclosed garden provides the perfect sanctuary for little ones seeking a tranquil and personalised Easter experience. Whether you're introducing small children to the wonders of nature or seeking a peaceful outing with older adults and grandparents, our springtime adventure promises fun for all the family.

Join us for a special one-off Easter Party on Thursday 17th April! You'll have a 35 minute Easter themed class, which lots of Easter themed props like Bunny Ears, egg shakers and other props like scarves, a parachute, spikey balls, bubbles and more. Then followed by 40 minutes of stay, play and refreshments.
Our classes include dance moves, lots of music, sensory elements, musical instruments and are so much fun for parent and child.

During the Easter holidays, take part in pond dipping at RSPB Rye Meads! Discover the creatures lurking in the hidden depths of the waters - from the tiny water flea to the mighty dragonfly nymph, the ponds of Rye Meads are full of a variety of amazing animals! Available from 10am-4pm, Wednesday - Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (21st April). No need to book, just turn up on the day!

All pond dipping equipment is provided for £4.50 per kit, and your pond dipping session will last approximately 25 minutes. Please do not bring your own nets as you won't be able to use them in our pond. This is a self-led activity.

The exhibition follows six artists' journeys through their practices as they explore ways in which meaningful cross-disciplinary collaborations can be achieved with both human and non-human partners.

With its intimate setting and limited capacity of just 15 children per time slot, our enclosed garden provides the perfect sanctuary for little ones seeking a tranquil and personalised Easter experience. Whether you're introducing small children to the wonders of nature or seeking a peaceful outing with older adults and grandparents, our springtime adventure promises fun for all the family.

During the Easter holidays, take part in pond dipping at RSPB Rye Meads! Discover the creatures lurking in the hidden depths of the waters - from the tiny water flea to the mighty dragonfly nymph, the ponds of Rye Meads are full of a variety of amazing animals! Available from 10am-4pm, Wednesday - Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (21st April). No need to book, just turn up on the day!

All pond dipping equipment is provided for £4.50 per kit, and your pond dipping session will last approximately 25 minutes. Please do not bring your own nets as you won't be able to use them in our pond. This is a self-led activity.

Instead of our usual Easter Egg hunt this year we are doing Monster Mania. Kids can find the monsters around the Grotto and receive a mini monster if they spot them all. As always, bring a torch (on a phone is a fine) and wear comfortable shoes. A visit will take around half an hour / 45 minutes. No loo's on site unfortunately and please note getting around the site is tricky for people with mobility issues. all entrance fees go to the Scotts Grotto Trust which exists to keep it going and open to the public

Hop on over to Woburn Safari Park on Monday 21st April and you could be meeting a very special guest - Peter Rabbit™ will be appearing at intervals to meet his littlest fans throughout the day!
Go on a fantastic safari adventure and see some of your favourite wild animals in the Road Safari before heading down to the Safari Hangout in the Foot Safari to meet Peter Rabbit™.

During the Easter holidays, take part in pond dipping at RSPB Rye Meads! Discover the creatures lurking in the hidden depths of the waters - from the tiny water flea to the mighty dragonfly nymph, the ponds of Rye Meads are full of a variety of amazing animals! Available from 10am-4pm, Wednesday - Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (21st April). No need to book, just turn up on the day!

All pond dipping equipment is provided for £4.50 per kit, and your pond dipping session will last approximately 25 minutes. Please do not bring your own nets as you won't be able to use them in our pond. This is a self-led activity.

Spring has sprung, and the Easter Bunny needs your help! Explore our beautiful Mill Gardens, Meadow, and Woodland as you follow clues, complete fun activities and answer questions at 10 exciting trail stops.

Meet the amazing animals who call the meadow home and discover fascinating facts along the way.

This Easter at Cedars Nature Centre in addition to our action packed schedule of events we will be hosting an Easter Trail around the zoo, find the pictures of eggs and spell out a hidden word.
💟There will be animal presentations every 45 minutes during this time.

The exhibition follows six artists' journeys through their practices as they explore ways in which meaningful cross-disciplinary collaborations can be achieved with both human and non-human partners.

The exhibiting artists are Heather Barnett, Emma Critchley, Hannah Dargavel-Leafe, Alexa Wright, Sam Jury and Rob Godman.
The exhibition brings together a range of different artistic practices and ways of working - from slime mould investigations to underwater ecosystems and Tourette's Syndrome.
