After being given roller skates for Christmas, our girls (aged 3 1/2 years and aged 5) have been practicing all around the house, building up their balance and bravery for roller skating! After a solid two weeks of practice ( lol), they were ready for their first Roller Disco!!! So nostalgic as I used to love roller discos in my youth!
This was our first visit to Roller City at Campus West and we did the Family session which are on on Saturdays and Sunday morning. It was so much fun and they loved it so much. It always amazes me how fearless kids are!
The purpose-built hall is an excellent size for beginners and more experienced alike. You can either bring your own skates, or hire from Roller City ( £1 extra for a hire skate ticket). Rollercity offer a variety of sessions including beginner sessions on a Saturday morning, family skate sessions which are slightly quieter, all ability roller Disco, and an 18+ roller disco on a Friday night, which includes a bar and DJ! Find out more about all available sessions here .
The parking at Campus west is reasonable and convenient.
Our tickets for the family skate session were £8.07 (£9 if you hire skates). There is also a discount of 15% using the Zebra membership which you can sign up for for free , and offers discount on all activities and food available at Campus West including the cinema and soft play.
If you're thinking about trying our Rollercity my recommendation would be Do It! It was so much fun as we'll be back! 🛼🛼🛼
