Children's activities, clubs & classes

Melody Monkeys will be running occasional school holiday sessions at the Hatfield Hyde Cricket Club. Please get in touch to find out dates. There is loads of free parking - please use King George V car park, AL7 4BP.

Fun sessions with lots of music, singing, movement, parachute activities, bubbles, instrument play, action songs, puppets, dancing, stories, lights and more! These are mixed age sessions for 0-5s, although I recommend that babies are sitting up before attending (smaller babies welcome FREE with older siblings). Older siblings are welcome.

Each session is a different theme so learning covers a huge range of areas, such as Seasons, Jungle, Jobs, Farm, Pets, Transport, Food and Under the Sea to name just a few. Sessions promote early years learning, with activities that involve creating sounds, using rhythmic movement, counting skills and exploring rhythms to name just a few. They also help children to develop core areas such as improving their listening skills and ability to follow instructions, whilst building confidence and developing healthy peer interactions.
