Age: 6 - 12
The Writing Den is a creative writing club for children between the ages of 6 and 12 (school years 1 - 7.) Run by a qualified teacher and children's writer, the games and activities complement the school curriculum.
The Writing Den benefits children by:
• Encouraging a love of language, books and storytelling.
• Developing confidence in reluctant or hesitant writers.
• Nurturing writing talent.
• Providing a safe form of self-expression.
• Improving writing skills including spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Engaging the imagination.
• Establishing your child's unique voice, giving them the freedom to be bold and go wild with a pen!
Mondays in Hertford
Tuesdays in Buntingford
Wednesdays in Welwyn Garden City
4.15pm - 5.00pm
For children aged 6 - 8 (School years 1, 2 and 3)
5.15pm - 6.00pm
For children aged 9 - 12 (School years 4, 5, 6 and 7)
