24th July- 28th July Harpenden

Join our fun wind bands and orchestras exploring all genres of music. Students will have the chance to play in full orchestras and smaller groups tailored to ages and stages appropriately. Extra non-musical activities each day will give time for making friends and team-building. A week of learning, socialising and performing with a final concert at 6.30pm on the Friday where parents, grandparents, friends and hangers-on are all welcome to attend! Please bring a packed lunch each day and be ready for action. The course will run from 9.30am - 3.30pm at Katherine Warington School, Harpenden
Please note: This is for children who already learn an orchestral instrument. We cannot cater for pianists on these courses.

31st July - 4th August Harpenden

Musicals Week!

Put on a production of Annie this summer! Spend the week learning the songs and choreography to this fantastic musical to perform on the Friday evening. The musicians on this course will learn pieces from films and shows as well as improvisation pieces. The course will run from 9.30am - 3.30pm at Katherine Warington School, Harpenden, with a final concert at 6.30pm on the Friday where parents, grandparents, friends and hangers-on are all welcome to attend! Please bring a packed lunch each day and be ready for action.
Please note: This is for children who already learn an orchestral instrument or who sing. We cannot cater for pianists on this course.

For our younger musicians we have the Step up to Music course which runs along side the main courses at Katherine Warington School from 9.30am - 3.30pm, as an introduction to instruments and music-making. They have the opportunity to try a variety of orchestral instruments, learn about rhythm and pitch with percussion and enjoy a range of genres through musical stories and games. The week will be themed and they perform a short concert to their families at 4pm on the Friday. There are no private lessons on these courses.

7th - 11th August Bedford

This week is the same as our instrumental week one but held at the prestigious Bedford School for boys. We are very excited to take Musicale Holidays to Bedford and meet new musicians.

This course will also be supported by Step up to Music for our mini musicians aged 5-7 years.
