Theatrix provides young people from the age of five to nineteen with opportunities to learn a wide range of theatre, speech, drama Musical Theatre and communication skills. Teamwork, enjoyment and the development of strong friendships characterise the Theatrix ethos. We offer weekly classes Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday after school and Saturday morning.
We welcome children of all abilities and needs, we are very proud of our unique connection to a prestigious Pinewood casting agency, and have loved seeing our students in Major blockbuster films.
We offer the facility of taking the nationally recognised Trinity exams (optional but encouraged) which at grade 8, the work done does complement the national curriculum in drama and theatre studies
Past alumni feature on TV, very recently on This is Going to Hurt, some run their own theatre groups, one has a senior role on the Southbank, some come back to teach and many keep in touch and now send their children to us.
