Aldwickbury School
Aldwickbury School is a Pre-Prep and Prep School for children aged 4-13 in Harpenden.
From September 2025, Aldwickbury School will transition to a co-educational setting. From this date, we will welcome girls into the Pre-Prep (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) and girls will then progress through the school year by year. The school will be fully co-educational by September 2031.
In 2024, the school was named the UK's 'Independent Boys' School of the Year', in recognition of its future thinking vision, school values and diversity group led by the pupils.
Aldwickbury provides an outstanding education that encourages children to do their best, embrace challenges, be themselves and most importantly, to be kind. The strong academic curriculum prepares pupils for life at a wide range of excellent schools.
Their journey through the school prepares children to leave at 13 as good people, ready for the next stage of their school life.
