Harpenden Learning for Leisure
Harpenden Learning for Leisure (HLfL) is a local voluntary body set up to run educational leisure courses for all members of the community. Friendly and sociable courses cover diverse topics such as art history, literature, the Country Estate, music appreciation and current affairs. NEW courses for Autumn 2023 include: Creative Writing and Victorian social history.
The 10-week courses take place in the Harpenden Trust Centres or Plough & Harrow pub, Southdown Road, Harpenden. No qualifications or prior experience are required. And no exams!
Costs: £80 per term - 10 x 2 hour classes. (Current affairs £60 - 1.5 hrs)
