Located on the edge of Wheathampstead on the way to Harpenden in leafy Amwell, we are the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle - Popular with bike and horse riders along with walkers and those looking for a large open space where you can dine, drink and relax. Our traditional 18th century building is surrounded by two large gardens with plenty of tall trees, filled with cosy corners and two wood burning stoves.
We have a multitude of carefully selected wines from across England and further afield, exceptional award winning ales, craft beer & lagers. There is also a wonderful selection of gin, whisky and rum alongside our brand new menu. Our meals are made with fresh, local ingredients and served daily for lunch and dinner.
We have parking front and rear and are a children and dog-friendly pub. So, if it's a special occasion, a refreshing pint after a long ride or you just fancy relaxing with some great food & drink we will be happy to help.
