Greenwood Park Play Area
The children's play area is located at the front of Greenwood Park, adjacent to Tippendell Lane. There is car parking either side of the main drive, close to the play area, but if this is full there is also a large car park to the rear of the Community Centre. The fenced play area can be accessed by either of two kissing gates, from the main park. The larger of the two gates is big enough to allow access by wheelchair or buggy.
Play equipment includes:
SupaNet with extensions including a slide, climbing nets, coconut-rope walkway and hangout seating
Triple Rope Trail
Large Play sand area
30M Zip Line
Large embankment slide
Two sets of swings, including one inclusive seat suitable for use by children with disabilities
Toddler multi-play activity centre with climbing frame, slide and fireman's pole
And more.
The park also has an area of open field, suitable for a variety of games and activities, with 5-a-side goals, along with benches and picnic table, public tennis courts, a cycle path, football and cricket pitches, woodland walks and wildflower meadows.
