Belfairs Nature Discovery Centre is the gateway to the Daws Heath Woodland. The centre provides a space for schools, groups and families to learn about south Essex's fantastic ancient woodlands in an interactive way.
The Centre provides a café and shop, with costs supporting conservation efforts across the county. There is also an education room inside, which is available to hire as a meeting room.
On the edge of woodland nature reserves, home to endangered and protected species like heath fritillary butterfly, dormouse and song thrush. The Trust also runs volunteer work parties that help manage the nature reserves for wildlife, and regular walks and events to enjoy this special place.
