Smiley Preschool is a term-time only preschool based at the Salvation Army church in Leigh-on-Sea. We are a 30-place setting offering sessional care and education for children from 2 years 6 months up to 5 years of age. We accept 2 year and 3&4 year funding up to 30 hours, and are registered to accept Tax-free Childcare.
Our opening hours are 9:15 - 15:15, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Within those hours children can attend for morning, afternoon, or full day sessions. We are closed during school holidays and on bank holidays.
The preschool is inclusive to all and offers a warm and welcoming child-led environment where children can flourish and reach their full potential, preparing them for the next stage in their educational journey and beyond.
The preschool was awarded a 'Good' rating by Ofsted in April 2023.
