At Kingsdown School, we value each child as an individual with differing skills, talents and needs. We endeavour to provide a supportive environment which allows each pupil to grow towards their full potential. We work closely with our multi-agency partners to create a school which is happy, safe, caring and positive.
In September 2017, Kingsdown School along with the three other special schools in Southend-on-Sea (The St. Christopher School, Lancaster School and St. Nicholas School) formed a Multi Academy Trust, the SEN Trust Southend. This enables us to share expertise, resources and training across the schools whilst maintaining the individual ethos, status and character of each school.
