Castlepoint Transport Museum
Like so many of the Island's museums, the Transport Museum owes its existence to the enthusiasm and hard work of volunteer members and donations from the visiting public. Putting aside London Transports' museum housed in Covent Garden, a visitor would have to go as far afield as Ipswich or Lowestoft to find comparable collections. The vehicles are, of course, at the heart of the Museum but the historic building itself has required an enormous amount of work and investment.
During times when the Museum is open, there is no charge for entry on scheduled Open Sundays, though your donations to support the Society and Museum are very welcome and Museum volunteers will be on hand to show you around and answer your questions.
Please note we currently do NOT run vehicles on our regular Open Sundays.
Also, charges for entry may apply on Special Event days.
Open on selected days. Check website or facebook for more details
