Hylands Estate
Hylands Estate is proud to have approximately 574 acres of restored historic parkland open to the public free of charge, including ancient woodlands, grassland, ponds, lakes and formal gardens.
Hylands Estate is home to an award-winning accessible castle-themed adventure playground. The playground boasts four-meter-high castle battlements with portcullis and a cool drawbridge entrance with dedicated play areas for children above and below the age of six. Perfect for imaginative play and exhausting little ones. Grab a tea or coffee at Mauro's and let the children roam free. The Adventure Playground is located near the park entrance off Greenbury Way.
The Information Point is the hub of Hylands Artist Studios. This is where you can find out information about the artists and designers and shop for one-of-a-kind items #MadeAtHylands. You can also pick up the latest Hylands Walks and Events leaflets. Don't forget to purchase your duck food before heading to the Pleasure Gardens.
Hylands House opens its doors free of charge to the public every 3rd Sunday of the month* to reveal the secrets of its fascinating history.
