The Southend Health Visiting Team can be contacted Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, excluding bank holidays
Health Visitors aim to promote the health and well-being of families with children under the age of five.
They encourage healthy lifestyles, support families with addressing concerns about physical and mental wellbeing, as well as readdressing health inequalities.
Health visitors are currently based in the Civic Centre and Children's Centre's alongside the School Nursing Team. All health visitors are registered Nurses and or Midwives with an additional qualification in Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN).
