From November 30th to December 24th, Hertfordshire Zoo will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland, filled with festive cheer, twinkling lights, and special experiences for visitors of all ages. This year, the zoo is going all out to spread holiday joy, offering a range of enchanting activities and seasonal treats included in your day ticket. So, grab your family and friends, and get ready for a Christmas adventure like no other!

One of the highlights of the season is the magical Christmas Grotto, where children can meet* Santa Claus himself every weekend from 30th of November, and including the 23rd & 24th December! You will have the chance to share your Christmas wishes with Santa, receive a small gift, and capture the moment** with a keepsake photo. And the best part? This magical experience is included in the price of your day ticket!

For those looking for a little mischief to go along with the merriment, a special guest will be making an appearance throughout the event - the Grinch! With his trademark green fur and grumpy demeanour, the Grinch will be roaming around the zoo, spreading his own brand of holiday humour. The animals at Hertfordshire Zoo are also getting into the holiday spirit. The zookeepers have planned special seasonal talks, where you can learn about some of your favourite animals.
