Welcome to the Bee Friendly Family Open Day! Join us at one of our three exciting events at the Old Hale Way Allotments for a fun-filled day of learning about bees and how to create a bee-friendly environment in your own garden.

Hands-on activities include making seed balls, creating wax works, viewing bees close up, a fun quiz and much more. Meet our beekeepers and handle beekeeping equipment.

Kids may also get the opportunity to try on a bee suit and take selfies with Rachel, our "resident bumble bee".

So come along and join us for a day of fun and learning at the Bee Friendly Family Open Day! We can't wait to see you there!

Please book your slot to avoid queing on the day. We do save a few places for visitors who haven't booked but you may have to wait at the gate.
