Half term is never far away, so I've been busy adding lots of events to the website!

There's also a category packed with local Holiday Clubs, so if you’re working over half term or simply looking for the kids to go off and have fun for a few hours, so you can have some time, then you can find all the info here.

You’ll be pleased to know that there is LOADS going on to keep all ages entertained and to suit all budgets both in Hitchin and beyond (look out for the FREE and LOW COST events and attractions label, along with the places where I've written a review in my Tried and Tested section of the website).

Snowdrops at Benington Lordship Gardens, Stevenage

Snowdrops at Anglesey Abbey, Cambridge

The snowdrop collection here at Anglesey Abbey hosts over 500 individual varieties of snowdrop, with some found right here in our gardens and as such, are named after people and places with links to Anglesey Abbey.

The specialist collection contains some of the snowdrops that are directly linked with Anglesey Abbey, and is only accessible as part of a guided tour. Join one of our knowledgeable garden team to discover our private collection of snowdrops, not usually accessible to visitors.
