We shall also be opening for our small boat hire, we are unable to take bookings for these boats as they work on a first come first served basis.

We will have 4/5/7/8 seater electric boats available as well as 4 seater rowing boats and pedalo's. However we do need to follow Covid-19 guidance so number of passengers may differ.

Our passenger boats are currently under review and we hope to resume running the trips as soon as we are able.

Due to the social distancing requirement we can only permit 3 groups on site to queue for boat hire at any time and we will be much slower in turning the boats around for the next hirer as we must clean each of them thoroughly - please be patient with us!
We are all on a learning curve at present and mistakes will be made so we hope you can help us out by understanding our problems.
We are only able to hire a boat to a single household group at present, again this is not our choosing but a government restriction.
We need to keep our staff safe and so they will be wearing face masks and gloves and those staff in close proximity to customers when getting you on board the boat and instructing you will also wear a face shield (they don't like them much but it keeps them safe) and when fitting buoyancy aids on the children. The buoyancy aids will be disinfected between uses.
And to top it all we must have a one-way system on site and entrance through the small gate and exit through the double gates, there will be barriers up to guide you along and the staff will also help with directions.
