Knebworth House makes for a great day out for all the family, with the Historic House, 28-acres of Formal Gardens, 250-acre Deer Park, Adventure Playground with Fort Knebworth and Dinosaur Trail.
Knebworth House is a treasure trove of stories from 19 generations of the Lytton family, making it an extraordinary walk through 500 years of British history. Delve into the 3 exhibitions and climb the Watchman's Tower to discover the stories that make Knebworth House so unique.
The Formal Gardens are a delight through the seasons, encompassing 28-acres, they include a Maze, Rose Garden, Wilderness Walk and much more.
The Deer Park is a refuge for country picnics, ball games and dog walking (dogs must be kept on a lead), whilst you might catch a glimpse of Red and Sika deer.
Children can enjoy exploring the Adventure Playground and Fort Knebworth, and follow the Dinosaur Trail with 72 life-sized pre-historic creatures grazing amongst the shrubbery on the Wilderness Walk.
