Compassionate Parenting Programme
As a parent, it's natural to sometimes feel lost and unsure about what your child needs from you. But imagine if you could understand your child's emotional world and know exactly what they were asking for. That's exactly what you can gain from attending a Circle of Security® Parenting™ program.
Based on decades of research, the Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is designed to support and strengthen the bond between parents and their children. Using the COSP™ model, which is based on attachment theory, you will learn to understand your child's emotional needs and how to respond effectively.
This is a group training course for up to 8 parents of children aged 6 months to 6 years. The course is a welcoming and accepting environment where parents support each other and share their own parenting difficulties.
The ticket price includes 8 (90-minute) Zoom sessions on Monday evenings, starting on 11th September 2023 (UK time). This works out at £15 per person per session.
The sessions will run at the following dates and times:

Monday 9th Oct, 6-7.30pm

Monday 30th Oct, 6-7.30pm
During the sessions, you will be guided through proven techniques and research-based strategies to help you understand your child's emotional world, support their emotional management skills, boost their self-esteem, and secure their sense of safety and trust.
This course is led by fully qualified Circle of Security® Parenting™ Facilitator and Psychotherapist, Debbie Sheringham. Debbie has worked as a Mental Health Practitioner for NHS CAMHS, and she has a background of delivering training for the BBC and charities such as Doctors Without Borders.
