Children's activity clubs & classes

Houghton Regis Leisure and Community Centre offers a range of exciting activities to keep you and your family active.

With three pools, there's a water activity for everyone! The eight-lane, 25-metre main pool hosts relaxed family sessions, inflatable fun and lane swimming, as well as Everyone Active's award-winning swim lessons. The swim teachers are all Swim England (or equivalent) qualified, and swimming lessons are available for any age from just four months old.

There's also a smaller teaching pool, equipped with a moveable floor, and a water confidence pool, both perfect for young children's first water experiences.

Experienced swimmers who've reached Stage 7 can take rookie lifeguard lessons - an introduction to lifesaving skills both in the pool and on land, including basic first aid and CPR.

And outside, there's a children's play zone which gives kids a fantastic opportunity to get active outdoors – all while having enormous fun!
