About the Central Bedfordshire Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS)
This is a statutory service, working at arm's length from us, which offers a free confidential support service for parents and carers of children with special educational needs.
We provide free and impartial information, advice and support about Special Educational Needs & disabilities (SEND) for children, young people, parents and carers in Bedfordshire.
It offers a range of services:
free, confidential and impartial information relating to your child's special educational needs
drop-in sessions for parents and carers about the services available in Bedfordshire
sends regular newsletters to provide help and advice
trained independent volunteers that may be able to support at a meeting with either the school or us
provides information regarding parents' rights and responsibilities, and who you can talk to about your child
Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 15:00 (with 24 hour message service available)
