Expect the unexpected...
Our Trail of Terror is packed full of scares at every turn, from rustling bushes, to masked monsters and screaming scarers! Our staff are at hand to make your evening as frightening as possible, all put together by our Colchester Zoo in-house team - Zoo team by day and scarers by night!

There are several Safe Zones located along the route which will allow you the chance to purchase food and drink without the fear of being frightened!

At the end of the trail the fun doesn't stop there! Why not reflect on the horrors enjoyed with your friends and enjoy the live entertainment, food and drink until close.

Due to the nature of this event, we will not admit anyone under the age of 5yrs.
We do not recommend this for anyone under the age of 12yrs however this is at guardians' discretion.

Please also be aware that due to the unpredictable nature of the trail, this event may not be suitable for some people with sensory or other specific needs.

Personal assistants will be admitted free of charge to accompany a guest with disability - verification may be requested on arrival.
