Join us for our Egg-cellent Easter Craft Activities, take part in our new exhibition This Fractured Land inspired art classes, celebrate Eid with paper craft, step back in time to Victorian Bucks plus make your own pet for National Pet Day!

? Saturday 30 March - Easter Eggstravaganza! ?
Join us for a day of Easter fun: don't miss Terrie Howey, the Red Phoenix, who will be taking us all on a journey through the county with Buckinghamshire folk tales of past, present and future from 10am-12pm. You'll also be able to take part in an Easter egg hunt, try out our giant egg and spoon challenge, play egg-croquet, relax in our Victorian garden, add to our giant Easter picture and more!
P.S We encourage all with an Easter bonnet to wear it proudly!

Monday 1 April - Hatch An Easter Chick!
Celebrate Easter at Discover Bucks by creating your very own pom-pom chick to take home.
£3.50 per participant
Timings: Drop in anytime within 10am - 4pm
Suitable for ages 4+ (younger children are welcome but will need some help with their craft).
Tuesday 2 April -Make A Fossil!
Make your own 3D sculptures of fossils with this 2-hour workshop, inspired by our exhibition This Fractured Land. Using fossils from the handling collection as inspiration, we will have fun drawing fossils, rocks and stones, then get busy making individual structures to cover in modroc plaster! This is a fun and hands-on session - it can get messy so be sure to wear old clothes.
£7 per participant
Timings: 2 hour workshop 10am - 12pm (please arrive promptly at 10am). Booked slot: no drop ins, although tickets can be purchased on the door subject to availability.
Suitable for ages 5+
Wednesday 3 April - A World Of Your Own!
Pop in to play with a variety of collage materials and create your very own personal landscape images, inspired by the exhibition This Fractured Land!
£3.50 per participant
Timings: Drop in anytime within 10am - 1pm
Suitable for ages 3+ (younger children are welcome but will need some help with their craft).
Thursday 4 April - Introduction to Ink Drawing
Explore the fantastic potential of brush and ink to create beautiful imagined landscapes, inspired by the exhibition This Fractured Land. Led by artist Jane Peacock, we will spend some time mark-making and exploring the medium before working on landscape compositions.
£6 per participant
Timings: 2 hour workshop 10am - 12pm (please arrive promptly at 10am). Booked slot: no drop ins, although tickets can be purchased on the door subject to availability.
Suitable for Adults and children aged 11+
Friday 5 April -Eggcellent Experiments!
How does an egg support the weight of a human? How do you make an egg bounce? How can an egg survive being catapulted? Join us to explore the wonderful world of science with egg-themed experiments.
£6 per participant
Timings: 1 hour sessions 10.15am - 11.15am & 1.30pm - 2.30pm (please arrive promptly at the beginning of your slot). Booked slot: no drop ins, although tickets can be purchased on the door subject to availability.
Suitable for ages 5+
Allergen advice - eggs will be handled during the session.
Monday 8 April - Celebrating Eid!
Learn how to make your very own paper Eid lantern: all welcome!

Tuesday 9 April - Bucks Back In Time: The Victorians
Experience Victorian Bucks with a range of hands-on crafts and activities in this drop-in workshop: try your hand at cross stitch, play traditional Victorian games, see how you suit Victorian fashions, handle real Victorian objects and more!

Wednesday 10 April - Let's Print!
Learn the art of block printing with this hands-on family workshop, inspired by the exhibition This Fractured Land!
